I am currently a researcher at Department of Architecture at University of Cagliari (Italy).
I was recently awarded a two years scholarship by the Regione Autonoma della Sardegna (PO Sardegna FSE 2007-2013 L.R. 7/2007 "Promoting scientific research and innovation technology in Sardinia").
My research topic focuses on algorithmic methods and their application in the fields of architecture and engineering.

I graduated in 2007 in Engineering from the University of Cagliari with a final thesis titled "Advanced digital design techniques in architecture: Parametric modelling for the design of an house on the water fot the 20th Corus Architectural Students Awards" .
The project, developed with Bentley GenerativeComponents, received the 2008 honourable mention award in the category Architecture / Building as a finalist at Bentley BE Awards of Excellence and was also part of the Baltimore (USA) exhibition of the BE Conference "Best Practices for Sustaining Infrastructure".

During my graduate studies, in 2003 I obtained the certification for Alias | Wavefront (now Autodesk) Maya "Character Rigging and Animation"certification.
I was one of the tutors for various workshops with Bentley GenerativeComponents held at the Polytechnic of Milan, Polytechnic of Turin and at the University of Cagliari (IT).
After I graduated, I worked for two years in Cagliari (IT) as a licensed engineer and as digital specialist for digital simulation and parametric modelling.
